Marcus Jordan, a senior at Whitney Young High, is no stranger to the basketball court. The middle child of NBA legend Michael Jordan has inherited some of his father’s basketball skills, but is also establishing some of his own identity on the court. Jordan is one of the top guard prospects in the class of 2009 ranked by Rivals.com as a top 10 prospect in the state of Illinois. Marcus Jordan helped lead the Rising Stars to a runner-up finish during the final day of the King James Shooting Stars Basketball Classic last weekend. Jordan, a 6-foot-2 point guard, scored six points in the 54-50 semifinal victory over the Ohio Basketball Club. Jordan is considered a mid-major college prospect and is being heavily recruited.
