| Slam Dunk Contests |
 GBOA’s Slam Dunk Contests will showcase some of the brightest stars around on their quests to follow in the footsteps of Dominique Wilkins, Vince Carter and Dwight Howard. GBOA’s stars will demonstrate that they have all of that, and will put on a display of eye popping, jaw dropping abilities, the likes of which are usually seen only in the NBA. The GBOA Slam Dunk Contest, along with the 3-Point Shootout, will take place on the Saturday night of each tournament, after the conclusion of pool play. All eyes will be on center court at to see the gravity-defying performances of the top six dunkers in the tournament. Each player will get two dunks in the opening round, with the top two scorers going head to head in the final. Reigning Champion Clarence Trent of the Arkansas Hawks returns to GBOA to defend his title in the South Regional with high hopes to make it to the finals at the Challenge of Champions.
