East & West vs. North & South If you like seeing GBOA regional tournaments, which are jam packed with the country’s top teams, you’ll love the GBOA Challenge of Champions All-Star Game. The All-Star Game is a can’t miss event taking place at the Challenge of Champions Tournament on August 15-17, 2008. A true All-Star game, the GBOA All-Star game puts the top 20 grassroots players in the country together on the same court in a head to head battle. Think of it as a sneak preview of next year's McDonald’s All-American game and maybe even the 2010 NBA All-Rookie team. GBOA is home to the top grassroots teams and players in the country, so it is no doubt that the All-Star Game will feature the best of the best. Twenty players will be selected to compete in the prestigious GBOA All-Star Game based on stellar performances in their respective regional tournaments. Teams will be divided by region, as the top ten players from the North and South combine to take on the ten best from the East and West. The 2008 GBOA All-Star Game promises to be an exciting event for players and fans alike, complete with high scoring games with impressive offensive displays, amazing dunks and superstar match-ups. No other summer event will match the top players up with their counterparts at the same time on one court.
