Dante Taylor (DC Assault)
Dante Taylor is a power forward from Fort Washington, Maryland. Taylor, who stands at 6’8, is ranked in the Top 50 nationally for the class of 2009 and in the Top 20 at the power forward position. As a junior, he averaged 20 points and 11 rebound per game while leading his National Christian Academy team to a 16-8 record. Taylor’s aggressive style of play and athleticism has him on the national radar, being recruited by many of the top college programs in the country including offers from Maryland, Pittsburgh and UConn.

Lance Stephenson (Juice All-Stars)
Lance Stephenson is a 6’5 shooting guard from Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, New York. Stephenson is arguably the top prospect in the 2009 class averaging 26 points and 11 rebounds per game for Lincoln, while leading the team to three consecutive New York City Championships as well as a State Championship. He is a recruit high on every major college basketball program’s list because of his athleticism and raw talent. Stephenson’s legend grew even more when he became the youngest player ever to play in the Pro Am division at Rucker Park, while also earning MVP honors in a game that included five NBA players.

Dominic Cheek (New Jersey Playaz)
Dominic Cheek, a 6’5 shooting guard out of Jersey City, New Jersey, comes from a prestigious high school basketball program coached by hall of fame coach, Bob Hurley. Cheek helped lead his St. Anthony’s team to a 30-0 record and the school’s 25th state basketball championship in his junior season. The smooth shooting star is ranked #12 in the class of 2009 and has garnered interest from over 25 college basketball programs, including UNC, Ohio State and Pittsburgh.

Maalik Wayns (Team Philly)
Maalik Wayns out of Philadelphia plays for Roman Catholic High School. As a junior the 6’1 point guard averaged 23 points and dished out 5 assists to go along with 5 rebounds and 2 steals per game. Wayns is a Top 10 rated point guard for the class of 2009 and earned Pennsylvania All-State Honors while leading Roman Catholic to a 12-1 league record on his way to being named Catholic League Southern Division MVP. Next year, Maalik has committed to play basketball for Jay Wright at Villanova University.

Greg Echenique (Metro Hawks)
Greg Ecgenique is a 6’8, center from Ridgewood New Jersey. Echenique, a native of Venezuela is a Top 5 center for the class of 2009. He plays for the prestigious St. Benedict’s Prep, where he averaged 11 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks per game as a junior. Echenique, a highly recruited prospect, helped led St. Benedict’s to a 26-1 record and in March 2008, decided to continue is college career in New Jersey at Rutgers University.
