After Clarence Trent reclassified himself to the class of 2009, he saw his recruitment increase. The high flying forward who hails from Washington spent his junior season at Findlay Prep in Las Vegas. Trent, who is known for his leaping ability, was able to grab the attention of many high majors during his first season at Findlay, one being the University of Kentucky, which is among his top choices. At Findlay Trent averaged 14 points per game to go along with 8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. The power forward is ranked in Rivals Top 150 players in the class of 2009 and has drawn attention from Arkansas, Connecticut and Florida. Trent plays summer hoops for the Arkansas Hawks. The Hawks will participate in the GBOA South tournament in Atlanta this June and look to compete for the regional crown and a berth to the Challenge of Champions taking place later this summer in Chicago |
